The Maine Bankers Association’s 23rd Annual BANK EXPO takes place April 9 at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland. This is Maine’s only trade show for bankers. It features educational offerings, breakout sessions, and workshops for operations, IT, security, and compliance managers from banks across Maine.

- Operations and Technology topics include mobile banking, social media, and SharePoint.
- Security topics include workplace security, internet banking, mobile deposit fraud, data breaches and identity theft.
- Compliance topics include a UDAP/UDAAP update, fair lending, mobile deposit fraud, and a TILA/RESPA banker panel.
Certificates will be provided for security sessions. Lawyers will receive CLE credits for attending the compliance sessions.
The Maine Bankers Association has served Maine’s banking industry since 1893. The Association offers industry representation in legislative and regulatory matters at the state and federal level. It sponsors educational programs and forums for banks to exchange valuable industry information. The Association also sponsors insurance programs, provides regulatory and compliance assistance, and facilitates media relations on behalf of member banks.
