How do you model strong leadership?

“I work hard to set up a collaborative environment where everyone’s ideas, regardless of the person’s status or identity, are considered on their merits. I foster courage, compassion, and curiosity. I own my mistakes and think that gathering feedback is a key part of any process. I believe we connect through the power of story and every day I’m humbled by how much I am still learning. I understand the principal asset of The Telling Room is the staff – and that the work we do in the community is only possible with the right people in place supporting each other.”
