The Maine State Council of the Society for Human Resources Management has named 84 companies to the 2020 Best Places to Work in Maine list. The 84 winners, split into small, medium, and large employer categories, will be revealed in ranked order in the special awards publication produced by Mainebiz.

A sponsor of the program again this year, KMA is pleased to be part of honoring these companies on the final list who have shown best practices in compliance with state and Federal Human Resources laws and regulations, employee relations and engagement, and various other aspects of their operations.

All companies who participate in the Best Places to Work in Maine program should be commended. Many use the process to help them make improvements in their workplace culture, and as a benchmark for how they are doing compared to their peers. Being considered a “best place to work” is important because premier employers are better able to attract and retain top talent, their employees tend to be more engaged, satisfied, and productive, and consumers react more positively to companies with excellent reputations.

Congratulations to all who made the list this year!
