DOL Releases Final Overtime Rule, Effective January 1, 2020

The Department of Labor has announced the new minimum salary for certain exempt white-collar employees. The final rule is very close to the proposed rule we reported on in March. The new minimums will take effect January 1, 2020.

Form I-9 with August 31 Expiration – New Version Coming

The most recent version of Form I-9, dated 7/17/17, has an expiration date of August 31, 2019. The Department of Homeland Security notes on their website that a new version will be issued soon.
