Joyce O’Connell, Human Resources Consultant

  • Serving New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine

“I truly believe that the best way for any organization to ensure success is to provide the tools and means for their employees to grow and thrive in their jobs and reward them for doing so. I have focused on growing and nurturing the “people side” of business my entire career—and I am very proud to say that I still find it the most exciting and rewarding work and I enjoy it tremendously.”

With more than 30 years as a Human Resources and organizational development professional, Joyce O’Connell brings an extensive set of skills and experiences in building and managing people and talent. She has worked in both global and national organizations, from start-ups to Fortune 500, across many industries in both the for-profit and non-profit segments. As a versatile and innovative HR leader, she has a diverse background that includes hands-on experience in every functional area of HR, with a particular strength in talent acquisition and retention.

Joyce earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Education from the University of Rhode Island, and has taken additional master’s level courses in HR Management and Organizational Development. She has long been a member of both SHRM and NEHRA.

An Amesbury, Massachusetts and Otisfield, Maine resident, Joyce has a non-stop love of learning new things and meeting new people from all walks of life.
