Election Day is Two Weeks Away!

Election Day is just two weeks away. With that in mind, we thought it would be helpful to remind everyone about voting leave laws, poll hours, etc.

Voting hours generally now extend well beyond the normal workday; therefore, most employees should be able to vote before or after their scheduled work hours. Also, every state is offering Absentee Voting in 2020. Here is a quick reference guide to voting in Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Massachusetts

Employees may request time off to vote during the first
two hours the polls are open.

  • Absentee Voting
  • Polls open 7am (some as early as 5:45am) until 8pm

 

New Hampshire

No employee leave laws

  • No Early Voting
  • Absentee Voting
  • Polls open 7am until 7pm or 8pm, based on location
